Protein Balls 3 Recipes

Vegan, dairy, egg and soy free (depending on protein powder) ~ all free of gluten, wheat and refined sugar

Cacao Fudgy Bites

Ingredients:

  • 50g chocolate flavoured protein powder
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons cacao nibs
  • 2 tablespoons raw buckwheat
  • 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • 2 tablespoons almonds
  • Extra desiccated coconut for rolling

Method:

  1. Mix protein, coconut oil, cacao nibs, buckwheat, coconut and almonds in a blender or food processor
  2. Roll into bite sized balls
  3. Roll in coconut
  4. Store in the fridge

Jaffa Chocolate Orange Balls

Ingredients:

  • 50g chocolate flavoured protein powder
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1.5 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 orange juice and zest
  • Extra cacao powder for rolling

Method:

  1. Mix protein, almonds, cacao, honey, orange juice and orange zest in a blender or food processor
  2. Roll into bite sized balls
  3. Roll in cacao
  4. Store in the fridge

Salted Caramel Balls

Ingredients:

  • 50g vanilla flavoured protein powder
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 15 pitted medjool dates
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 pinches salt
  • Extra desiccated coconut for rolling

Method:

  1. Mix protein, cashews, coconut, dates, maple syrup and salt in a blender or food processor
  2. Roll into bite sized balls
  3. Roll in coconut
  4. Store in the fridge
