It’s a bit of a grey and windy day here in the City of Sails, but that still doesn’t reduce my cravings for smoothie bowls!
Paleo, plus dairy, egg, soy, gluten, wheat and refined sugar free, optional vegan
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 2 frozen bananas (peeled)
- 1 serve chocolate flavoured pea protein powder
- 1 serve collagen powder (omit if vegan)
- 1 heaped teaspoon cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon molasses
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional – adds extra fibre and omega 3)
- Just enough coconut milk to blend
- Top with 1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter and a sprinkle of desiccated coconut
Method:
- Blend all of the ingredients in a blender, except peanut butter and coconut
- Serve in a pretty bowl like a coconut bowl
- Decorate with the remaining ingredients
