Protein Balls 2 Recipes

Paleo, vegan, dairy, egg and soy free (depending on protein powder) ~ all free of gluten, wheat and refined sugar

Peanut Butter Brownie Chocolate Protein Balls

 Ingredients:

  • 50g chocolate flavoured protein powder
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 50g roasted and salted peanuts

 Method:

  1. Mix protein, peanut butter, cacao and coconut in a blender or food processer
  2. Roll into bite sized balls
  3. Crush peanuts with a knife or blender/food processer
  4. Roll in peanuts
  5. Store in the freezer

Salted Caramel Vanilla Protein Balls

Ingredients:

  • 50g vanilla flavoured protein powder
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 15 medjool dates
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • Extra desiccated coconut for rolling

Method:

  1. Mix protein, cashews, coconut, dates, maple and salt in a blender or food processer
  2. Roll into bite sized balls
  3. Roll in coconut
  4. Store in the fridge
